The Rave For Life Poets Corner

Less than one minute read time.
The Rave For Life Oh I can’t wait till the Friday morn, When I will be up at the crack of dawn. I’m off to Buxton, Wouldn’t you know, And taking a plane is how I’ll go The 6.30 flight I will be on And landing in Manchester At 8.31 Why so early I hear myself say, I really don’t know, It just happened that way. I should be in Buxton as they begin to rise, Yawning and stretching and rubbing their eyes. Oh my god what’s she doing here, She’s a day too soon, Not to worry, I say, just show me my room. I’ll be part of the furniture by the Saturday night When people arrive, Some more on a flight. . Some are in campers and some are in tents And some in B & B’s they’ve had to rent. A meeting of friends for the very first time All in the flesh and not on line. Without Cancer Backup We’d never have met, So cheers to the Forum and the Internet. If you cant make it, don’t worry this time As we’ll do it again Somewhere down the line. We're having a party, A great RAVE FOR LIFE, So Alison make sure, THE BOOZE IS ON ICE!
