What a day

Well i got up at 6am left the house by 7.15 and off to the hospital i went on public transport which i really hate doing {funny that seeings as im a bus driver lol} got to the hospital at 8.45 not bad timing went to the ward oh yes you guessed it they didnt know i was coming but decided to send me for bloods anyway then told me to go to an appointment which i didnt have, doctors didnt know i was coming that made 2 of us lol well they found me a place to have chemo and then i got told that my platlets were to low there at 80 not good they need to be above 100 so no chemo but i could still have the trial drugs went on to ward to have said trial drugs didnt get them till 4.30 by this time i was hungrey and tired and getting a bit snappy really had to bite my tongue not to take it out on the nurses i know its not there fault well im home now at it took so long to get here i got in at 7.33 and am so flipping tired and hungrey so going to eat then go on chat.

    Well Rose that was one helluva day you had, and none the better for it either.

    Why these  hospitals cant get things right Ill never know.

    Anyway love I do hope this was just one of those days , and things get much better for you.

    Oh boy do I know how you feel, had that happen at more than one Chemo, blood test, doctors appt ect,all the way through my treatment, and your right its not the nurses fault, but when you've been messed about all day, its hard not to snap at the nearest person. All I can tell you is that the treatment, and hence the botched appt etc, finally come to and end. Good Luck, and best wishes for the future.
