I am the carer to my husband who was diagnosed last xmas eve with an unknown primary.
He has had 15 rounds of Folfox/Avastin and had a reallt good response, tumor shrank, nodes shrank and liver mets cleared up. Had a scan on Thursday and found it had progressed to lungs and everthing bigger.
I am a radiographer so need some fun to escape hospitals!
Have found jazzercise and yoga have helped. My very brave hubby has met new friends and is off recoeding music!
It would be nice to share thoughts. we have a great oncologist - we are looking at this as a chronic disease - we are going to live with this for a long time.
