    Well Chemo day went well, it took 9 hours but one thing you do get used to with this condition is the waiting!

    Well it was up at 5am today to get to the hospital on time for my first day. Barely three and three quarter hours later treatment actually got underway when I was wheeled down to x-ray for the Hickman line to be put in, ah well better sitting waiting than having a lay in!     Today I have been to the hospital to sign the consent forms and deal with the associated paperwork.This of course includes a description of a terryfying list of side effects (including death!) and which therefore cheered me up no end. I did get a cup of what can only be described as an apology for drinking chocolate which was tepid but was at least devoid of taste.
