Dad's funeral was beautiful, a real celebration of who he was.

Everyone and everything made it special.

Dad's cask lay in the brilliant sunshine streaming through the windows during the service, whilst I knew he was gone it was almost as if I could feel him there.

As I walked out after the service I just had one last pat of the cask, a quiet last contact with the man that made and shaped me during my early…

Matt and I had a lovely chat about his first weeks work...

He likes the job, and enjoys the banter in the kitchen. His boss called him in and said after 3 days he had learned so much more than they expected him too... he has been told at this rate he will be promoted and may get to do more complicated meals. Just wondered if anyone out there knows of a poem that celebrates coarse fishing [UK] riverside or lakes, not fly fishing or trout or carp... Dad never one to go after them...

Something that is like a final fishing peg, reserved just for dad

I know it is a long shot - seems all the ones I find are american ones...
