    Hi

I also have been widowed very young im 23 with a 4 month daughter! i can relate to all on your blog! i also was very excited about the royal wedding but was shocked at how upsetting it made me feel, realising that all their hopes they have for the future are what me and lee have lost!

Lee was diagnosed in Feb with bowel cancer feb this year and passed away just 3 weeks later!

I dont know if you have already read this but i have just finished a book called wife interrupted by Amy Molloy who also was widowed at 23 and lost her partner to skin cancer, she writes on how she dealt with his death, was just nice to read someone elses way of grieving! its a good read!! shes now 27 and working for a magazine and is due to get married, so just nice to know that we can be happy again one day even if we feel like life has dealt us a real shit deal!

i think its really good for you to keep blogging even if no one else reads it im sure it gets things off your chest!

    xx

I also looked and thought they would all be older - it kind of annoys me when people say "he was only 50 when he died" and things like that because my Andy wasn't even 21. The young widowed people I've met on here have been really helpful, although I am interested in speaking to your friend if that's ok.

    Thank you

    xx

hey guys im so sorry for both your losses! i cant relate to you in that way but another.. im caring for my boyfriend who has bowel cancer.. he's had it for a year and still has two operations to go.. its so tiring and im finding it very hard! watching him go thru painful operations makes me feel so helpless..

did you guys find this to? i also sometimes secretly feel angry at him for it.. i know its not his fault but i still get angry at him!

he was very moody at the start but i think he's realizing that he's lucky to have me.. we were only together for 7 months when he got diagnosed and its been a cancer journey since then..

did you guys also find your friends acted a bit strange? some of mine dont talk to me anymore i guess because they dont really understand that my time is taken up with him..

hope you both take care xo
