So it’s been just over a week since my surgery. It’s been a tough one for me, I’m not good at just sitting around doing nothing. I have had good days and bad days. Today is a good day. Tuesday was a bad day. I had to buried my best friend my mum. Then I collapsed on the stairs and had to carry back to bed in so much pain, then was bed bound for 2 days. Feeling a more energised today.. and then I got the great news is I got the all clear today, there is no other tumours and the cancer had not spread. So no more treatment and just a follow up appointment in a few months. It’s a massive relief for me, I know not everyone gets the news they want to hear but you have to keep positive and things will always have a way of working themselves out.
