We are writing today with some important news. In the coming weeks we will be launching an upgraded version of the Community.
Why are we doing this?
Macmillan’s Community is an invaluable source of comfort for our members. We want it to be as easy as possible for all of our members, new and old, to use the site and access support.
Over the last few years, we have received feedback from our members about how we can improve the Community and make it easier to use. We really appreciate hearing about all of the ways we can make the Community better and with this upgrade, we hope to see many of these improvements come to life.
Macmillan is committed to providing a safe space for all of our users to continue supporting each other as we know that this is a lifeline for many of you.
This upgrade is a mark of Macmillan’s commitment to continue to develop and grow the Community and it will give us and our users some great opportunities to improve the site moving forwards.
What does this mean for you?
When we upgrade the site, the look and feel of the Community will change.
We will have a new layout and new brighter images so the Community will feel less cluttered and easier to find what you need.
Registering for an account will be easier and this upgrade will also create a much more stable platform and we expect to see less glitches and bugs across the Community, creating a better experience for everyone.
Please be assured though, that all of your groups and the content will still remain as they are.
We will be sharing some more information about key features and what to expect soon.

These changes are all being made with the Community at the fore. Over the years, we have seen our members support each other through some of the darkest times.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our members for being active sources of support for each other. Without you, the Community quite simply wouldn’t be what it is today.
Through making these changes, we hope you are all able to give and get support in an easier, more simplistic way and you see the commitment Macmillan is making to the Community and its users.
