At Macmillan, we believe that no one should have to face cancer alone. But for many people, living with cancer can leave them feeling isolated and lonely.

Our nurse Kate Goldie will be live in the chatroom next Tuesday lunchtime to answer your questions and discuss the best ways to deal with feeling alone.

Maybe you live in a remote location, or you’re not feeling up to getting out of the house and socialising, or you simply don’t feel able to talk to those around you. The live chat is a great place to share your feelings and find resources to help you cope.

To take part join us in the chatroom on Tuesday 19 February between 12-1pm.

If you can’t make it to the chat, you can post your question in the comments below and we can ask it for you. All the questions and answers will be published here on the Community News Blog after the chat.

Or, you can speak to a nurse like Kate by calling freephone 0808 808 0000 (Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm).

And, of course, if you are feeling alone, you can share experiences and get support right here on the Online Community. If you’re new to the site, try joining and posting in some relevant groups to find people with similar experiences.
