My dad was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bladder cancer in 2009 and given 3 years. His chemo & radiotherapy at the end of that year went well, but in October of 2012 he began to get blood in his urine and we knew it had returned. However the doctor and hospital delayed the diagnosis...

I lost my Mum to cancer in October this year and I have to say that although I knew I would miss her so very much, I did not realise how physically painful it would be. You can't really describe the feeling until it affects you. Cancer is such a cruel disease and to see your Mum go through it is...

Death. Its one of those things that's really final. No more to pass go, collect £200. No Do Over's. No come backs, no final countdown. Its pretty much MORE the end, than finding you've got to the bottom of a packet of Cadbury's clusters. And the emotional fall out is pretty heavy...
