    One thing you do not get told and is not featured in any booklets you are given when you are diagnosed with cancer is that you will meet wonderful people who wont make it. I don't think I will ever get used to that. Sometimes you might only speak to these people via the internet, over the phone...

    It's been a while since I have updated. I think that is a good sign because it shows that I am busy with things that are not only linked to cancer. I have just had my latest round of checks, including a re-run of the CT scan to check on marks on my liver, but all is good. Phew! Big sigh of relief...

    Yesterday I was told the good news that my bloods were within normal range and I didnt need more treatment Yes!!! I was so numb I couldnt take it in to start with! Yes I will have a small dark cloud hovering in the form of being a former cancer patient and needing blood screening every three months...

    Today we held a coffee morning and evening for Macmillan. We sold drinks, cakes and books. and boy, did my friends come up trumps! from baking cakes, donating books or just being there. the support was amazing!. £437.25 raised so far, not bad considering everything was 50p each ( dont know...
