Has anyone gotten 1 high dose of Carboplatin in the arm instead of a port? My husband had his chemo 7 weeks ago and the veins in the arm they used swell alot and get hard It seems the more he uses that arm (of course it had to be his right one) the more the vein swells. I know this is probably the norm for getting chemo but i wondered if any other people out there experienced/experiencing the same thing. Hi all I am on my second cycle of capecitabine and having been told the only side effects I would probably get were sickness, diarrhea or hand and foot blisters I am very upset to find that I am losing my hair which the oncologist said very rarely happens and am coming out in a rash of ithcy red lumps...
