Your Profile

• What shall I write here?

Your profile is your chance to tell the other Community members about yourself. Include the reason you've come to the site, a bit about you as a person or a friendly hello! It's up to you what you write, but please don't include your real name, address, email address, phone number or anything that can be used to identify you offline.

• Can I have a picture?

You can. You can upload a profile photo (or avatar) to your profile. It doesn't have to be your face, you can feature your beloved pet, a cartoon or anything else you fancy, as long as you own the copyright. We also have a series of avatars that you can choose from.

• How do I upload a profile picture?

You can upload a profile picture by choosing the profile tab within 'My Account', then 'Change Avatar'

Find a picture that you like from your own computer by clicking 'browse' and then 'Upload and use image'

• How much shall I say?

It's up to you how much you tell us about yourself. If you don't want to share too much yet then don't worry, there's no rush. As long as you don't share any off-site links, personal contact information or content which breaches our guidelines then your profile is a blank canvas for you to fill.

• And how do I update it?

You can update your profile by selecting the 'My Account' tab, then 'Edit my Profile.'

This will bring up a form to edit your profile. Remember to click save afterwards.

• How do I see someone else's profile?

You can search for any member of the Community in the search box.

You can refine the search by choosing 'profiles' from the tabs. To see their profile just click on their username.
