Signing Up

• How do I sign up to the Community?

You can sign up to the Community on our Registration page.

• Why do you need to know my age and sex?

Our Online Community is only for people aged 16 and over, so we ask for your age to make sure that you're old enough to use the site. We don't share it with anyone though, so don't worry.

• What do you do with my information?

At Macmillan Cancer Support we are committed to protecting your privacy online. We protect any personal information you give us while you use our websites. To find out more about this, read our Privacy Policy.

• When will I get my verification email?

We'll send your verification to the email address you signed up with within 20 minutes of you signing up. It will contain a link which you will need to click on to confirm that you own the email address. After that, you will be able to log in to your account. If you don't receive your verification email, please contact us.

• How do I change my email address or password?

Click on ‘my details’ in the top-right hand corner of any page. If you change your email address, you will be sent a verification email to that email address and you will need to click the link in the email before the change can be completed.

• How do I change my username?
