  • What is the chat room?

The chat room is an area of the site where you can chat in real time online, any time of the day or night. Once you enter the chat room your username will be visible so please say hello and introduce yourself. The Community Guidelines apply to the chat room in the same way as the rest of the site.

  • What is a smilie?

It's sometimes hard to express mood or emotions online, but you can use smilies to show how you're feeling when you're communicating online. Sad, happy, angry or surprised smiles can give context to your words and help others to understand you better.
