Sponsor Forms
I want to do my own independant events to raise money for Macmillan and was wondering whether Macmillan have general sponsorship forms to download or whether they only have ones for their specific events? if they do, will just create my own =)

Re: Sponsor Forms
Hi there guys...
I am a volunteer for MacMillan and YES they do have generic sponsorship forms.
Unfortunately you cannot download them, but if you give your local office a ring, they will be more than happy to send you some out. Use this link to contact your local office.
They can also help in many other ways too... Give you help and advice on how to raise more money, they will have contacts with your local media who are always happy to give you a mention in their papers or you may even get on TV. Why not hold a fundraising event locally, to raise awareness of what you are doing... People are always happy to donate to a great cause.
Macmillan can help you design poster's, give you merchandise to sell etc Also see www.be.macmillan.org.uk for more info. Get out on the streets, tell people what you're doing, you'll soon see the money start pouring in.
Oh and finally, how many friends do you have on Facebook/Bebo/Myspace. Send them ALL a message telling them what your upto with a link to your justgiving page!
I usually put the link on as my status update!!! and it works!
I wish you guys luck,
Paul
