My mum is 74. She is diagnosed with chronic lymphocycetic leukemia (stage 2) in April 2000. Her white blood count has risen to 125 last week. Her lymphocyte count is 108. However, she is not prescribed with any medication. The doctor said medication is not required at this stage. I would like to know under what conditions will treatment be started for CLL. Thanks.

Hi I can't help with any info on your mums leukaemia as my husband has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia which I believe is completely different If you email one of the nurses on the site they may be able to give you some more info on CLL. Love and best wishes to you both
