    Hi its babs again

    I had my core biopsy over 2 weeks ago but am still having pain in breast also soreness in the back and side area muscles next to and  opposite where they did it the pain only started there after it was done has anyone had this it feels like pain when you pull a muscle not sure if its related or that its because  ive been so tense , oh ive had my M.R.I scan, even though ive had them before i still felt very clostraphobic results go to consultant mon M.D.T meeting tues then cancer nurse is coming round on wed to tell me results and treatment plan still having op on 31 st no matter what either lumpectomy or mastectomy just want to get it over with and get on with next phase have been out to lake district today which has helped my low mood speak soon

    Yes I was very sore after my core biopsy too, it takes chunks out of you after all and only needs to touch a nerve in the rib area......so its all very typical, and actually probably more painful than the MX...!!!  THere is more to hurt....whereas after MX I was mostly numb....

    I had invasive lobular cancer, stuck in a country where emotional support is an alien concept

    hi Babs

    I was in a lot of pain for around 3 weeks, plus very bruised and swollen. I had a lot of stsbbing pains and this was in my back too behind the breast that ws done. I wish I'd got some proper pain relief as kept me awake at night.Perhaps mention it to your GP/BN if really painful.

    Hope Wednesday comes around quick for you and you get your plan in place.

    sjnce reading your reply i feel so much better  knowing  someone else has suffered the same, the pain seems to have subsided a little today,  not as painful also ive decided to go bra less today as some of the bra was digging in so not as painful also painkillers are kicking in i couldnt concentrate on anything as it was too painfull ill be glad when ive got the results am a bit nervous as to what nurse is going to tell me but hopefully i can be strong and just go with the flow as they say cross fingers will speak soon take care
