I love your attitude so soon after surgery.  Yes you can dress close to the wind and be sexy and you should get full mobility back.  Am waiting chemo 2 but it is being positive that is getting me through.

As a lucky lady who has got away with a lumpectomoy, I am full of admiration for you ladies who have had mastectomy. I have tried to tell myself that i would have coped with it if it was necessary, but grateful not to.

For me, the thought of chemo was definitely worse than the actual experience. Like surgery, a 'go with the flow ' attitude helps, otherwise frustration sets in (easily!). Can cope with the down days, knowing that the second half of the cycle is better and can get out and about.

What about a strip poker style BC calendar? We could have some fun where we put the playing cards!!

I'm up for that - I just need another 11 breast warriors who would like to be in a calendar and we can do this - i'm not even joking have two interested photographers ready to shoot :)

Like you said about chemo, it's not so bad - and anyway it's life enhancing right ?? Why live with a sh*tty t*tty that could go bang bang ?? Take it off deactivate and eventually after all the poisoning, burning and hormone therapies I'll have good health, and a new set of ta ta's that's sooooo much a better option !!

Obviously my humour softens the blow and of course i know it's not as easy as that but why sit worry and cry about it, we have our ups and downs..i'm getting plenty of ups in for as long as possible

I think with everything that i have had thrown at me on this journey would make me and i am sure many other ladies on here worthy breast warriors....so bring the calendar on i say....we could all do with a giggle and some us time xxx

I agree, on the whole the situation is like double scoopings of do do, so you find some positive sprinkles to make it all better and change the slant on it :) May not be what we have chosen or preferred but look at the amazing people we are meeting and the laughs we can share in our strength xxxxx
