    Hi,

    I would like to know if there are any infection risks in getting a dog after lymph node clearance. Myself and my son both want to get a dog ubut we are unsure if the are any risks.

    any help would be great

    I had this done and live with several largeish dogs.......so provided you are healed and are careful the dog does not scratch or catch your affected arm you should be fine.  Keep antiseptic handy in case of a scratch and apply immediately......

    I had invasive lobular cancer, stuck in a country where emotional support is an alien concept
