  • hi i was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 weeks ago, its in both of my ovaries and i was also told that you have a sort apron that protects all your organs and that i have in their words tiny pips of cancer on this too. Im due to start chemo next tuesday 24th july and it planned that after 3 sessions il have a ct scan with the hope of being able to have a full hysterectomy if its all shrunk enough. im dealing with the part to do with my ovaries but im so worried about these "pips". All i keep thinking is that they told me 2 weeks ago they was tiny so how do i know that in the last couple of weeks they havnt grown alot bigger :(

  • Hi,, try not to panic,, I know easier said than done.. I have had a large tumour removed from my pelvis,, and I am left with what I would c all traffic light's.. Although these are the pips I think.. I too am scared that they are growing and have a mind of their own whilst I am sitting here now.. I am reassured that they grow really slowly and your treatment plan is going to zap those nasties away.. I start my combined treatment next Thursday,, am still getting pain in the areas where the cell's are.. Do you have any discomfort! I would just keep your thought's as positive as possible.,and keep posting on here as we all have each other, and it help's to know there is alway's someone there.. Best wishes xx
