  • Now I have I typed the whole text for Miss me But let me go and thought I will share it with all of you.

"be not burdened...deep with sorrow.  I wish you sunshine tomorrow"

Woke up this morning and sunshine coming through the door, made me feel very very sad but at the same time thought it's the way my beloved one saying good morning.....

Miss me But let me go

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little–but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
    Miss me–but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
    And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
    Miss Me–But Let me Go!

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following paths God made for me.
I took his hand, I heard him call..
Then turned, and bid farewell to all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to sing, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found my peace at  close of day

And if my parting left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
    A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burned deep with sorrow
    I wish you sunshine tomorrow
My life's been full I've savoured much
    Good friends, good times
    A loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wants me now.... He set me free

  • Maripos That has some beautiful words and words can bring comfort at a time like this because it shows we arenot alone, many have felt these exact feelings before us. Get comfort wherever you can. Here is a verse my beloved gave to me before she went and I read it several times a day and cling to it.... 'If there is ever a tomorrow when we're not together...there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...I'll always be with you. A.A. Milne Take care
