    It must of been over a year ago, that we first noticed a small lump on my left temple. It did not hurt or itch and we thought that it must be just one of those fatty lumps, that come and go, or that my new glasses were causing an abrasion.     As both cancer patient, health care professional and yoga teacher I am always keen on finding out if anyone out there has found any relief to symptoms/side-effects from complementary therapies; such as reflexology, acupuncture, hypnosis, Reiki, Shiatsu, yoga, meditation, "animal companion therapy"?     mum got the news in 2005, i was abroad at the time and came home as soon as i heard. in the three years since diagnosis ive realised that she is the sweetest happiest person i know. its affected the family a lot and i wish i could spend more time with her. mum sleeps a lot now and is back on steroids after a lot of radiotherapy.
