    surviving and waiting to thrive!
    I keep being told that I should have reached my "new normal" by now. But here's the thing, no one can tell me what a new normal should look or feel like and if it feels like this then I'm not keeping it! Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want but I am beginning to wonder if this talk of a "new normal" is just something that is said to keep people like me hoping for something better to come round the corner or maybe I am just a bit to black and white in my thinking...

    Cancer moved to liver
    Breast cancer 2006, lumpectomy, node clearance, recurrence Feb 2013, lumpectomy, 25/25 lymph nodes removed cancerous. various scans. Mets to liver 6mm and 8mm nodule, suggesting I might be able to have op. If not less than 2 years to live, I know I should not complain, I am 62. Has anyone been through this experience xx

    My Cancer Journey
    Am I in a different place this morning! And it only took a few bars of a song to encourage me back onto the dance floor. That was some night. Thanks guys, didn’t realise how much I was missing the music. Or you lot. Never could manage the back flips but I can still spin with the best of them! I’m going to take the most useful advice that I’ve been given so far since I discovered I had cancer, and that’s to never stop shaking your tail feather. Look forward to doing it all...

    Please can anybody share experiences of a TUG flap / TMG reconstruction?. I’m anxious about effects on the donor site and would appreciate some advice. Also how do I get comprehensive information on the plastic surgeon involved? I have a provisional date of 5 th July . for mastectomy and reconstruction.
