Planning CT scan

Hi, I recently had my planning CT scan and didn't realise until I got home that I should have had a scan with canulation but they did not do that. Does anyone know if this matters?

I am not a medical expert, but my understanding is it is to make the scan easier to interpret. In the past they tried but failed to canulate my wife but went ahead and did the scan anyway.
