'Good Weekend'

Less than one minute read time.
Completed the 'race for life' in Sunderland yesterday with my 84 yr old mum and 15 family and friends, we all dressed up in pink tutus, fluffy ears with 'support breast cancer logos on etc. (what a sight) but what a great day we had, we only walked the race as my mum was in a wheelchair so it took us 1 hr 15 mins but got there in the end. We then went out for sunday lunch then I collapsed in bed about 4.30 tired but with a sense of achievement. 4th radiotherapy completed today, fighting your way through all the traffic is more of an ordeal than the treatment so don't know why I worried so much you also get chatting to some lovely people with a great outlook on life regardless of what they are going through.
