1 minute read time.
I'm feeling ok considering what's been pumped into me! I still feel nauseas in the night and on waking, but I'm fine once I start taking the anti sickness tablets in the day. The steroids make me feel restless, which is not a good combination when I feel so tired!!! My middle daughter came to stay yesterday for a few days, which is wonderful. It's great having the lovely company, but having my meals cooked for me and the washing up done is a godsend. I live alone and am fiercely independent, but I have learnt to let go and allow others to takeover sometimes. It's a hard learning curve for me, but I'm getting there!!! Another cancer sufferer I have met vis this website sent me an inspirational You Tube link, which is a track by a lady who fought breast cancer. I have a young friend who will be running for my chosen cancer charity next spring and she has downloaded it to run to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgiwrvEX8wY As I'm feeling ok today and the sun is shining, I think a little trip out is in order - somewhere with beautiful scenery, hills and lakes - in Wales, there is plenty of that to be found! :-)

Hi Gale, thanks for your support on my blog. I live alone too which I generally like, however at times like these you need people around you. I'm so glad you have support from your family and good friends to make plans with for the future when your treatment is over. Sending you uplifting and healing thoughts PG xxx

Hang in there Galek , you can do this ...I'm a 3 too and winning and getting fit is top of my agenda too.

I'm an independent soul too but reaping the benefits and gratefully receiving even the little things friends and family do - it;s nice to receive at times too  xx
