Today is a much needed day of rest and I will not be changing out of my PJ's! It's also been a belated opportunity to create my blog!! I've been tying up a few loose ends this week, via emails and telephone calls, prior to the start of my treatment. I will also do an online shop today. I don't know how my appetite will be affected, but I will get some nice things in. My middle daughter is coming on the train to stay for a few days on Sunday and she will be cooking and fussing over me. My youngest daughter lives 40 minutes away and will be taking me to have the PICC line fitted tomorrow and she will stay over and be with me for my first chemo cocktail on Friday. I found a piece of paper with a quote on it in my purse this morning from a lovely lady I met at the Penny brohn Centre. It reads: When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile. :-)
