Less than one minute read time.
This was my first outpatient visit at the Velindre Cancer Hospital to have bloods taken and my oncology appointment. It felt surreal sat in the waiting area surrounded by cancer patients. I was there nearly two hours and passed the time thinking, reading a newspaper and even a bit wig spotting! I wanted to shout out, I shouldn't be here, it's all been a horrible mistake, get me out of here!! I felt a bit freaked out to be honest, but hey, I got through it. From there, I went to pickup the wig I had ordered a couple of weeks ago from a recommended wig specialist. I had picked the style and then the colour separately. I was so pleased with my choice. I had it trimmed into a long fringe and was shown how to adjust it and care for it. I was tired out by the time I got home and was ready for some sofa lounging.
