Dad passed away at 5am this morning. We were with him from noon yesterday and he was comfortable the whole time having been given diamorphine and midazolam among other things. He spent his last days in St Cuthbert's Hospice in Durham who have been absolutely fantastic - the Hospice is beautiful...

My apologies to people who have been following my blog. Dad is still bumbling along in the hospice slowly getting worse, there is a chance he may get home for christmas.
