Supporting macmillan

1 minute read time.

It has been a difficult week for all  warriors  with the loss of Debbie Brewer who was such an inspiration to so many. News also of other losses, some only in their forties with young families and our thoughts are with them. The devastation of this disease is felt by so many. I know you can’t measure one cancer against another but more people die of mesothelioma than cervical cancer each year , yet it seems to be below so many radars.

It has a far higher profile in the US and it was interesting to see that in main stream US news , workers and volunteers clearing up in Oklahoma were being warned about the dangers of asbestos.

Back here in the UK we braved a chilly June evening to take clients through my work to a Macmillan event in London. this was the annual Tug – of -War competition between the House of Commons and the House of Lords. There were several other teams competing and it was a fantastic event. All our guests said it was of the best events they had attended in a beautiful venue.

The rain just about held off but only one of my photos came out – and no they definitely aren’t politicians
