Firstly thank you for all the best wishes and support, it really helps because you know others understand and you aren’t being over anxious or paranoid. It really is this scary. Today has been much better, Ray is a lot stronger and no where near as tired so lets hope the night sweats stay away as well.

For various reasons we have had to go through a load of his old medical notes and we came across a report from last year that we hadn’t really read through. It estimated that on average the meso tumour starts to grow 10 years before symptoms start, so it was already underway when we met. Know that’s totally irrelevent but at times we still struggle to get our heads round this and adjust to the new reality.

This weekend sees the London marathon and lots of people doing extraordinary things , so best wishes to all the people doing extraordinary things like the others on this forum.
