Hi All
Well I finished radiotherapy to my right axilla last Thursday and apart from skin reaction and the occasional shoulder twinge I have survived it quite well.
I have a back to work meeting next Monday and all being well I hope to go back to work, part-time, on the 23rd March.
I am going to Coniston for the weekend as I ordinarily do a lot of walking. This will test my energy levels. I am in a walking club and we usually do ten miles at a stretch and although my energy levels are better than they were I may be pushing my luck to think I can do that. I may have to just do around five miles but at least it is a start at returning to normal.
I know I will never put this completely behind me but it will make a change to be able to think and do something other than think about cancer.

Push it babe, push it. Drive the boundaries forward. It's what they are there for! Congratulations on finishing your treatment. I finished my first slice of radiotherapy today as well. I start again on the 20th March
My radiotherapy is also complete, and like you I want to do more.
Although it is a few months away, I will be doing Ben Nevis, Scotland in May. So a few months left to get fit. May do a few hills next week when I have a week away in the Highlands of Scotland.
In May hoping to raise a few punds for our local Maggies Centre, that is what is driving me forward. I know how you feel, as it will take your mind of your, hopefully past, troubles.
