(Oct 15, 2012) I know you are all on the edge of your seats to know about my health…. (for those who aren’t there are other posts available on cheerful topics such as depression, educational standards and dementia). Or of course there are other blogs available. So… me...

(Sept 28, 2012) Never let it be said that I don’t learn from my mistakes… but let it be known that Sods Law overrides learning from your mistakes. I’m still suffering the ‘pains formerly known as gall bladder pains’ plus other random abdominal various pains which...

No, I am not a white man from Georgia confessing to being a lesbian from Damascus. When I was diagnosed with cancer, it was some time before deciding to write a blog about my experiences. Consequently I can confess that I have had the surgery already and am currently in that limbo which is the wait for...

Hi - has anyone else experienced pain in the breast affected by cancer? I get shooting pains and one side of the tumour is tender - even bras are uncomfortable as they lie across the lump! I noticed after the biopsies that the pain became worse. Up until now I had always been told cancer was painless...

Gosh they make me anxious. I am a little worried as my partner has found a lump under his nipple, right...

The first day that the GP was open once I was back from Norway I rang up and was given an emergency appointment and able to see my GP personally straight away. After a bit of a telling off for not having let her know that I had been refused for the MRI scan and UKFOSS trial so she could have tried...

It's Saturday and we are due to fly to Norway in a few hours for our final wedding planning trip before the big day in April. I have regularly checked my breasts every 3-4 weeks for over 10 years so when I found a definite lump in the shower, I knew it wasn't normal for me, far from. I...

Thanks for your comments folks. It was only a harmless cyst in my arm so I now have a neat line where it was taken from. Phew what a relief.

Hi Probably shouldn't worry but I found a pea size lump in my arm muscle 4 weeks ago. GP said shouldn't be cancer (wrong place/shape/feel) but with my history of cancer to go back after 3 weeks & see if it's grown - it hadn't. I seem to have felt it so many times I'm surprised...
