Side effects catching up

Less than one minute read time.

From going through chemo fairly smoothly I am now walking around like a drunk, dropping things and feeling very unsteady and depressed.  My memory is terrible and I cannot hold things as before as my hands cramp up and the hand looks as though it has got arthritis in it.  Had a bad reaction to the last lot of chemo and I am wondering if this has been the cause.

Still only one more chemo to go and then a scan a week after.  This is quick so hopefully it will mean things as all over with and I can get back to a normal life.

Oh for a proper holiday but cant sort out insurance etc until I know the results of my scan.

Fingers crossed!

Hey Jan, what you are going through seems to be the norm for us with ovarian, my joints are aching again and I am getting craps in my hands and feet, I went through the in 2008 but did get rid of the symtoms with physio for 10 months. My memory has improved but I still have slight chemo brain from time to time. Hopefully love you will improve. Take care...love Carol x

    Hi Jan,

Sorry to hear that you are suffering the dreaded side effects. Hope the last chemo goes well and good luck with the scan. At least the effects usually diminish once treatment is finished, then you will be ready for that holiday!

                 Take care,

                     Love lizzie xx
