I thought I'd share a moment with you all as my little girl made me belly laugh so much.
We always make a wish if we see a single bright star in the sky and so when one appeared a couple of weeks ago I called her through.
I wish I may , I wish I might, wish on the star I see tonight.....
We don't usually tell each other our wishes but I had my 2nd chemo booked for the 22nd dec and new that christmas was going to be a difficult one this year for her so I told her that mummy wished that she is not to sick on christmas day so we could have the fun we normally do, to which she replied, I wished that mummys head hurries up and goes completely bald so that I can get your make-up out and make a face with it on the back of your head!!
We both laughed so much, a truely precious moment.
Christmas turned out ok all things considered and her wish has almost come true as the last wisps of what was my hair are almost all gone now.
Bless all our children who in their own way do go through our journey with us. My little girl has been so strong, we talk about whats happening to mummy and I have always answered her questions as openly as you can to an eight year old. Her strength becomes my strength, her smile makes me smile and for this I am forever grateful.
