back again from spain. Radiotherapy is now finished his mouth is so sore full of ulcers and he has found this very painfull, the doctors have at last degun to react to his pain and he now is useing Fentanyl patches as the main pain block and can still have the other tablets for breack though. The strange thing is he did not have to have his 3 chemo ? i think he needs time to heal and then they will see what happens. I hope your Radiotherapy is going well , my brother found Aqeous cream the best take the heat out .
Sorry to hear that your brother is in so much pain. Its difficult when in such a sensitive area.
So far i've had no reactions to radiotherapy. I cant get aqueous cream here so I'm using Aquathelon which I think is the same thing and a baby powder recommended by the oncology clinic.
Not sure if and when I will be having chemo as no one is telling me anything. I think they want me to finish radiotherapy first.
