Not long had my ABVD and feeling ok other than the shock of being told my Chemo is booked until March 2013! My consultant had said I should only need two or three rounds! We are hoping they book more 'Just In Case' apparently it's easier to cancel appointments..... Not been feeling...

Hi guys, I've just had a lovely cruise holiday while actually on treatment. The doctor gave me 4 weeks between treatments rather than 3 because the Topetecan I have needs 5 daily sessions and with Easter and bank holidays it leaves 3 weeks when I can't have it. We are doing 2 x 4 weeks instead...

February 8 th My dongle’s not working in this room! Wait for bloods to come back then 9.15pm start eating 12 simpsons ice poles to try and numb mouth before Melphalan. 20 minute infusion. Half dozed off after the 7 th lolly for 10 minutes - wonder if I’ll pay for that lapse in concentration...

As some of you may know, my mum is currently ill with AML, Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. She is on Hydroxycarbamide Chemo tabs and they have upped to help the blasts go down. update , i got my partner to ring out of hours and they were totally usless leaving me really confused, told them about the symptoms and they said it was fine because 101.5 now 101.8 is on the low side of high ,thats ok then.totally contradicting the info i've been given by cancerbackup and the hospital...
