Debs Daily Deliberations - 29

2 minute read time.
Roll Up Roll Up Always wanted to say that LOL Anyone got any idea's how to stop a 15yo son and 10yo daughter arguing and coming to blows??!! My 13yo son has cleverly stayed right outta this mess!!! To coin an Essex phrase "they are doin me ead in", neither will back down...grrrrrrrrrrrr. Jack has his tetanus, polio and diptheria booster today, I joked last night that he better be braver than he was for the pre-school jabs - had one injection then refused to let the nurse have his other one hehe. Anyway, Mummy promised him if he was a big brave boy I would buy him some sweeties, just like I did when he has 5. So I have a packet of Tootie Frootie's put aside for my brave soldier when he gets home from school LMAO I decided to spring a visit on the pre-school where I work (or did before November) make sure they are still doing things right - well I felt like the Pied Piper of Hamlet, children clinging to my legs and following me around. I have to admit, the displays were definately not upto my standard, so they certainly need me back, if just for that LOL It was great, children can be a great tonic and seeing all their smilie faces and have them telling me that an old breakfast cereal box with loo roll tubes stuck on with too much glue is Diesel from Thomas The Tank etc made my morning. Mind you I found after 5 minutes I was putting aprons on them, running 'stepped on' fingers under cold water etc ............... WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I am not supposed to be working LOL I really hope that the Chemo Tablet is kind to me and that all the snotty noses and infections will not put me at too much risk so I can return in September and become a valued member of the community again! In the meantime I have been to Tesco's having Chicken wrapped in sage leaves and pancetta tonight with mash, green beans and carrots - see what they get when I don't ask for suggestions!! Its past midday and I am hoping that Paul's surgery is going well and that Carly is bearing up through the strain of uncertainty right now. Good luck to you both x I have also hung two loads of washing out on the line and finished snacking on a sarnie and cuppa tea. Wow, most I have done in ages I think, might have to have a nap this afternoon ;) I hope the sun is shining on everyone today. Thought for today: The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

Don't worry about the kids fighting, Debs.  Me and my brother used to fight like cat and dog, but we grew out of it.... I was 21 and he was 18 and all of a sudden bigger than me.....

Dinner sounds nice, my other half has left over soup and wheaten bread all the way from Ireland....which is well yummy btw!

Thanks Marsha, that means I will go to me grave watching them fight.  At least Tony will get some peace!

Got distracted after a phonecall while I was in chat, managed to close the wrong page and was ages before I remembered I was there anyway LMAO

Bought myself some lovely new rubber gloves today, I think they are going to last quite a while, as I saw them on the side in their packet AFTER I had washed up!!!!!

Reminds me of that song "where's your head at.............." imagine me on chemo LOL
