Winter is coming and that can mean heating bills become a really big worry for some cancer patients. When you are living with cancer, you can really feel the cold. However, if you aren’t able to work, or have other money worries, you might not feel able to turn the heating on as much as you need to.
If you think you might be struggling to pay the heating bills this winter, join next week’s webchat with Sarah Presto and Janina Salmon from our Welfare Rights Team. They will be answering questions and sharing tips for coping with the cost of heating your home.
To take part in the chat, join us in the chatroom on Thursday 25 October, 12-1pm.
If you can’t make it, post your question in the comments, and I’ll ask it for you. All the questions and answers from the chat will be published on this blog afterwards.
We have some more tips on keeping warm on our website. Or, you can speak to an adviser like Sarah or Janina on our free Macmillan Support Line. It’s 0808 808 0000 (Mon-Fri, 9am-8pm).
