In preparation for Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, we’ve teamed up with Silver Spoon to bring you a live web chat with master pâtissier Eric Lanlard, star of Channel 4’s ‘Baking Mad with Eric Lanlard’.

I would love to know which baked item generates the least washing up. I love baking, icing, measuring, stirring - the whole lot, but hate the washing up afterwards.
Laura, you should get yourself a "beloved" like mine - he always washes up when I've been baking! But I know what you mean, so many utensils!

Twirly, you are very fortunate indeed - I'm afraid to say that my beloved's idea of washing up baking utensils consists of licking the spoon.

Go for all in one bakes, everything into a bowl and mix.

You're either going to "pinch" Twirly's "beloved" to do your washing up, or go for Vintage's idea of "all in one bakes", or buy a dishwasher - the electrical kind - Lol!
If I am able to, I shall join in on the 14th, but I wonder if Eric has any special ideas for diabetics?
