This is where you can find out about all the amazing things going on in the Online Community. It's where you'll find news about events and awareness months; ways to get involved with Macmillan and up-to-date campaigning news from Macmillan HQ.
April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, so next Wednesday lunchtime, we’ll be hosting a web chat with our Nurse Specialist John Newlands. John will be on hand in the chat room to answer any questions you might have about this type of cancer.
Bowel cancer is also known as colorectal cancer, and includes cancers in the small bowel, colon and rectum. If it is caught early enough, it is one of the most curable cancers. Bowel Cancer Awareness Month aims to make people more aware of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer.
Please join us in the chat room (click 'open chat' and select 'web chat' from the Channel list) on Wednesday 18 April from 12-1pm, and get whatever questions you have answered.
If you can’t make it to the web chat but have a question you’d like answered, post it as a comment below and I’ll ask it for you.
Hope to see you there!
Thanks Pricsilla but I think you mean 18 April and not March!
Oops, sorry! You're quite right - the date in the headline is the right one. I'll fix the one in the text.
