March is not just the beginning of spring; it’s also Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. This year, we’re marking it with a live web chat on Tuesday 13th March at 12pm, where one of our amazing nurses will be answering any questions you have about ovarian cancer.
Ovarian cancer is the fifth most common cancer in woman in the UK, with about 6,800 diagnosed every year. The illness usually affects those who have reached menopause, but can also occur in younger women.
Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month plays an important role in letting women know the facts about how it develops, what symptoms to look out for and the treatments available.
If you or someone you know who has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, you’re living with the illness or you have concerns about developing it, please join us in the web chat room (select 'web chat' from the Channel list) on Tuesday 13th March from 12pm and get whatever questions you have answered.
If you unable to make our web chat but have a question you’d like answered, just leave it in the comment box below.
Hope to see you there!
