Are you, like many of us, still looking back over last year thinking of things you want to change for 2012 – bodies, jobs, homes, outlook on life, etc?

We are, and there’s only one thing we want to change, and that’s the lives of those living with cancer.  We’re so eager to do this we spend minutes, hours, days and months thinking about and devising ways of making our message heard and get people talking.

We sometimes ask for your comments, opinions and experiences so we can tackle the issues that really matter to you, and we’re always thankful for the response we get to our requests.  All your comments are taken on board and used to shape our past, present and future strategies.

It’s never too late to get involved and share your experiences and comments with us - over on our Requests and Organisations discussion board, we have surveys, research, opportunities, campaigns and workshops that you can get involved in, including:

  • If you dream of creating your own movie and giving Spielberg a run for his money, why not take part in our film-making club?
  • If you’ve felt let down by the lack of social care for an ill loved one, why not tell us about it?
  • Are you looking after a loved one with cancer? If you can spare a few minutes, please take part in our Carer Week survey.
  • If you’re a Kindle owner, we want to hear from you!
  • Have you or an older relative or partner with cancer felt they are not getting/didn’t get the most appropriate treatment because of their age?  Tell us your story.

So why not see how you can get involved in our quest for change?
