This is where you can find out about all the amazing things going on in the Online Community. It's where you'll find news about events and awareness months; ways to get involved with Macmillan and up-to-date campaigning news from Macmillan HQ.
Since November is lung cancer awareness month, we've asked nursesJane and Heidi to come and answer your questions live in our chat room.
The nurses will be available between 1-2pm on Wednesday 9th November.
Please note that this chat will take place in our main chat room. If you don't want to take part, please could you make use of the other chat rooms during this hour. We really appreciate your cooperation.
Jane and Heidi have a wealth of experience and knowledge, so this is a really good opportunity to ask them anything you like about lung cancer symptoms, diagnosis or treatment. Since only 6% of women in the UK say that they would recognise the symptoms of lung cancer, despite it being the UK's biggest cancer killer it's really important to raise awareness.
You will need to be a member of the community to take part. You can join up here and it only takes a moment.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there on Wednesday. If you're unable to make it on Wednesday then look out for the transcript on the blog shortly afterwards. If you'd like more information about lung cancer then please see our cancer information.
Thanks,
Rebecca.
