We want cancer to be a General Election Priority The campaigns team is hitting the road! With the General Election just months away, we’re loading up our campaign bus and going on tour. We’ll be heading to Orpington, High Wycombe, Southport, Doncaster and Leigh between 16 and 21stFebruary.

This is our chance to meet you. If you live in any of these areas, we’d love to find out about the issues that matter to you in the run up to the election. You’ll be able to find out more about our Cancer: Time to Choose campaign and how you can get involved and we’ll also be on hand with advice and tips on campaigning in the run up to the election.

No one should face cancer alone and this election is our best chance to make sure no one has to. Five years from now, half of us will face cancer during our lives. Many people in your area may already have been touched by cancer so please join us to demand:

  • Earlier diagnosis and better support after treatment to improve outcomes so they match the best in Europe.
  • Health services that protect the dignity of patients, while giving staff the support they need to do this.
  • The free social care people need to fulfil their wish to die at home if they choose.

Together we can make cancer care an election priority. We look forward to meeting you on the Time to Choose bus.
