Welcome! I can't call you by your name because you didn't sign your blog.We are all friends on here. If you are honest then there is no problem. I and I am sure others would like to know who we are talking to. We take people at face value. We are your friend unless of course it is the Danielle senario all over again and please God I hope not. We won't know that unless you do give of yourself. Then again you can give what you wish and then people will make their own judgement. So it leaves me to say that I hope to hear from you again.  Love Julie XX

    Morning Buzzie,

Everyone on here only allows people to see and find out what they want.  Its totally upto the individual.  It takes time to build trust and no one expects full disclosure on your first few days.

You dictate how the story plays out.

    Good luck with your journey.

    Love & Strength

Thanks for that!  I am still finding my way and you are all, of course, right to be cautious.

My name is Grace.  I am a secondary English teacher who has just had to give up working - completely stressed-out with trying to do my job and pick up what I can for my husband.  He was told by the oncologist last Decemember that he had months to live, if 'lucky they would get it into double figures.'  He is an extraordinary brave and kind man who everyone loves.  He is a self-employed decorative artist - still trying to keep up with his work so as to keep the money coming in and the tax-man off his back.  The prognosis is so dire that we are exploring every avenue, short of swallowing - ha ha - snake oil.

So there we go - I hope that is enough to put people's minds at rest.  I must sort out the signature thingy on my profile.

Hi Grace. Good to meet you. We are in similar situations. If and when my husband agrees to more chemo, it would be considered to be palliative. He's tried everything our Western Physicians have to offer and he is still feeling too well to be put on Chemo for the rest of his life.

So in the mean time, he's tried Naturopathy - which Didn't work; then he tried Very expensive Chinese medicine - including what we like to call "magic mushrooms" - which Didn't work; and now he's been on Tibetan medicine - which seems to be slowing things down a tiny bit. None of these Alternative therapies are claiming to have a cure, but all seem willing to try to help... and at this point, we have nothing to lose.

What sorts of Alternatives have you tried so far? And also - what are you doing to help Your "Stressed-Outness"?

    Sending you Hugs!!!!

    Love, Mau
